• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When you know it time to go from 2 to 3 wheels

That's crazy!
It would be perfect for someone with a disability tho.
A :spyder2: would probably be better suited tho.......just sayin

Cool. ..

Have seen several set up like that. It would be a great help to those with disabilities yet limited. My worry is if it fails but hey thats just me I prefer to have all three on the ground

Useful so long as you are stopping on a flat surface.

I remember an off camber crowned road that got me when I had to stop. Could just reach with my right foot to balance, then my passenger decided to shift on the seat. We both stepped off the bike as it slowly toppled over.

I considered using one of the landing gear setups or the Tow-Pac trike adapter before I switched to the Spyder. A couple of reasons I didn't. I didn't hear any real positives about Tow-Pac, plus they're kind of pricey. The landing gear systems don't do anything to protect you from the usual hazards of wheels sliding out from under you if you hit water, oil, or sand since you're in two wheel mode while riding. None of them are built ground up to be three wheels with the safety systems the Spyder has.
