• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When will dealers begin receiving 2013 Spyder RT's ?

I was wondering when the dealers might actually start receiving their 2013 inventories of Spyders. Most show them "in inventory" on their websites, but do not actually have them yet. I have ordered a 2013 RT LTD and the dealer thinks perhaps middle of January 2013, but dosen't know for sure. I would think that BRP would send it's the dealers a forcast of models being built, options/colors included, serial numbers, and anticipated delivery dates. Could that be correct?

I was at Central Florida Powersports today for scheduled maintenance and was told that they have only received one 2013 to date. It was an ST that didn't make it off the lot. Seems steering locked up and BRP hauled it to their facility in Palm Bay to research the problem. :banghead:
 
They're in production, and they don't build them just to keep them lying around the factory...

2013 ST in Mobile, Alabama

I talked to my dealer in Alabama, they said they got an ST in, but an email came shortly from BRP and told them not to touch it, that they were going to have it picked up.:dontknow:
 
Two "hold the phone" scenarios mentioned above--hope this is not the indicator of some type of production problem. :popcorn::popcorn:
 
I've been in touch with one dealer here in the Memphis area and the GM said that he's expecting 3 ST's soon. His BRP rep told him that he might get RT's by January, but he's trying to see if they can push it before December 31st:2excited:

:popcorn: Haven't seen anything to entice me to drag my wallet out and replace my smooth running, fully farkled 2010 RTS, with two more years of warranty… Could it be that I already have too many toys to choose from??? Nah, couldn't be…..
