• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When Spyders Attack..!

Me and the "other half" were out testing our new Scala G4's yesterday. I was ahead of her and the ATTACK SPYDER at a stoplight. I was turning on a red light and decided to pause..and that's when it happened.

*SLAM* I got bumped fairly hard in the left saddlebag on my ST1100. I was stopped at the time, but I did go over on the right side. Luckily, my helmet with the new radio attached didnt hit the pavement. I sort of just rolled off the bike and jumped up again. We grunted the beast upright again and were on our way in a few minutes. We did get some "WTF?? Drunk at this hour?" looks from passerbys. :2thumbs:

We carried on and had a great ride. The new Scalariders seemed to work well, even for me with me being "hearing challenged". We never had communicators before and it was fun being able to talk with each other while riding. The FM radio worked awesome. I m having a hard time getting my phones mp3 player to work, but I m sure I ll get it figgered out eventually.

Oh, we also went and had our new key for the Spyder programmed in. It cost a total of about 70 bucks for the key, cutting, and programming. I found out that the dealer reprograms both keys, so the one we lost will not work in the Spyder. I was glad to hear that. So if you find your lost key, it will have to be reprogrammed before use.

We are slowly gearing up for our trip, which will start May 16. Stay tuned.:D

Whoops! Glad to hear it wasn't any worse of a bump.

Now the real question is did he keep asking you why you ran into him while you were riding after that? :D

Same thing happened to me on my Valkyrie. A Goldwing hit me in the right saddlebag. Seems he was talking on his cell phone and let the clutch out forgetting he was still in gear.

I didn't fall but he swore he didn't hit me! Well, how did I get that big scrape and black mark in my saddle bag, I asked him.

As men, we do have a tendency to do things like that. :D The first clue you will not live it down is that he posted it out here for all of us to read.
