• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WHEN NAMES ARE USED IT ALWAYS/SOMETIMES PUT A DEEPER MEANING TO THE SUBJECT

Sometime/maybe all the time it is easier to talk about war because no real people - by name is in the subject. When I talk about Vietnam, I do not talk without all to many great Americans in my mind whether their names are mentioned or not. This is what makes talking about Nam brings to life in my head. This is what defines the terms of war to me. All to many times it gets to real for me. I do believe the realism of a talk of war is not fully understood without the experience of knowing someone(s) that lost their life serving their country.

I AM NOTHING OTHER THAN AN AVERAGE INDIVIDUAL WITHIN THE MEN I SERVED WITH, I AM ONE OF THEM THAT MADE IT HOME.

I served in Nam from August 1965 - mid September 1966.

below is a list of those I new And served with in Nam that did not make it home. I served with all but 1, & all but 5 when they were KIA. This list is NOT a complete list, for that I feel bad.

You decide if real names in fact make a difference.

Thanks..!!

for your service whiched helped us all get here...sorry for all the losses you (as did this nation) suffered along the way. I had many stay with me before being shipped out and so many did not come back. I think of them every time I see a MIA, POW sign or on these special occasions...thanks again..:bowdown:to you and all that served....
