• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In the middle of Feb I took Charlotte in to have the anti freeze changed. While she was there they found the battery was weak. It was the factory battery so I had them change that out too. The TRA did it's annual ride for burgers at Ray's Tavern in Green River Ut. Its about all that's left of Green River but it is worth the ride. Anyway the new battery died on me. I was able to get Charlotte home, but the battery wont hold a charge. I called High Adventure Power Sports in SLC who does my work and they said they would warranty it out for me. Saturday I took her up there to drop off and also have the brake fluid changed. They will have her about 10 days. When I got home I did some thinking(which I should have done 1st) and realized I will be paying about $175.00 for a "free" battery that only cost me $150 in the 1st place.. I would have been money and time ahead to just buy a new battery, install it myself and chuck the old in the garbage. Live and learn:banghead:

Bummer...

Life is strange that way. I sometimes feel that all man made items with warranties have time sensative parts set to fail the day after the warranty expires. I for one don't get extended warranties and I think the machines know this cause they don't fail and the warranties are expensive. Many items they offer extended warranties for are cheaper to replace with updated new items than the warranties cost. Just what you said....:dontknow:
