• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

when are the 2017 new models being released?

At this early time (10:38) it appears that the 2017 line up is missing the RS, RSS, and the ST versions. Does this mean the end of the 998 Rotax?

There is a new "touring" version F3 that comes with a top trunk--which is removable. With the new styling of the F3, it is making our trusty RT's starting to look long in the tooth. Time will tell.

Is BRP getting leaner and meaner, or are they making room for something yet to be announced?

I am hanging on to both RT's and not biting on the F3--although I like the front end looks better. Not enough to make me drop another $15K to $20K with a trade in.

I talked to a dealer in Vermont and one in New Hampshire and they both said the same thing. The only model that sells is the RT. The New Hampshire dealer had not sold any F3's.....ever. The VT dealer has sold 1 since they were released. They both had huge F3 displays with a bunch of bikes but apparently that doesn't sell bikes.

I agree BRP marketing totally dropped the ball on the Spyder 2017 release. Its a bummer for me really because it means I won't be purchasing another Spyder until they offer a model (not an RT) That doesn't have the cruiser riding position. That could be never.

Yep

Just doesn't make sense to produce two motors and two transmissions!

I am keeping my 2014 RTS-SE6 maybe in the future I'll trade, but if BRP comes up with some different colors for the RT'S, spyder models. Deanna
