• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

wheel adapters for the spyder

I found a place that will do custom wheel adapters for the spyder front wheels for $100 each.

They have done some before and have all the needed info i.e. backside setting and offsert.
I went for 15X7 wheels so that I can put 225/50 r15 s all the way around.
He is building my adapters for some Platinum Attitude wheels that he has in stock. the lug pattern is not standard 4 x 108 but the price is right $60.00 each for the wheels. Since he has them there he can do a perfect fit on the adapter. when they are delivered and mounted I'll post a pic.

looking forward to the pics :)

I'm always ready to see something new and different for the Spyder. Looking forward to the pics.

Please update us on high speed handling after you install the wider/taller tires on the front.

ventus r-s3 or ventus r-s2

available in 225-50 r15

and 225-45 r15

with the 15x7 rims up front gonna put 225-45 on the front and 225-50 in the rear for as close to oem diameter ratio as possible

using the 225-45 r15 on the front the tires are only 2.4% oversize in diameter I'm hoping the nanny won't mind this small of a difference

If you go without the...

front fenders be sure you wear a good closed face helmet with safety glasses over your eyes. I ran the black widow without fenders for a short time... believe me it will throw stuff at you when turning. /Ken

The wheels are on

I put the new wheels on yesterday. Included are some pics. The roads are wet from snow melt so I didn't get in alot of riding. So far the results are predictable. I added alot of offset so there is more scrub radius. This makes turn in faster but the steering effort is a little harder. It also tramlines a bit more. But the rubber is better, the track is wider allowing for more G's in the corners. No complaining from the nanny about the lager circumference up front. the oversteer isn't as bad now with some weight transfered to the back by the taller stance up front. When it warms up I going to switch to some 225/45 r15 Nittos and that should lower me back down,

Those look pretty good from here. How much road trash did they throw on you ryding on the wet roads without any fenders?

Thanks for those pics Altonk.
