• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's your route and date of travel to Chicago?

Thought I would start a new thread for people to list their route of travel to the BRP event and the date and time they are leaving. This way, if there are other SpyderLovers that want to try to arrange a meet up for the ride, they can have some idea of who is headed their way.

We are leaving at 0800 on June 25th, we are meeting up with some Ontario SpyderLovers at the I-69 and Belsay Rd exit. We will be stopping at I-94 in Lawrence MI at approx 1100. From there we head to Merrillvill Portillos for lunch with the Indiana crowd and BajaRon at approx 1300. Then on to Libertyville it is.

We are leaving on Thurs, 24th, staying at the Red Roof in Elyria, OH that night and proceeding to Libertyville, IL on Fri, 25th.

We are planning on leaving from Ingles Performance (Phoenix, NY) at 10AM on Thurs.

We'll be happy to link up with anyone on the way through PA, OH, IN and IL.

I'll be taking the shortest route down the hall to my computer room to wait for pictures uploaded on SpyderLovers. :D

I hope Chicago is nice to all who is attending. Safe rides everyone.

Pretty much the same for us... although I would prefer taking 12 from 69 over to New Buffalo. 12 is a nice 2 lane to ride...plenty of little towns on the way... not as fast as 94 but much more scenic and less traffic stress!

Dan, you and Mike are leaving Thursday though, right? Mike is leaving from Lansing and meeting with Dan in Battle Creek if I am not mistaken. They are meeting with TAJohn, from Cleveland Ohio, somewhere along the way as well, I believe.

Plans are still pretty loose at this point.. will firm things up as we get closer. I'd like to hit the road Thursday morning and have a nice ryde for the day.....

Will have to check with the others...

+Please keep posting itinerary. Catching up to others inbound along the way is a possibility.

Attached is my general route, though, and as you can see, I also have some time on my hands outbound.

Ride on.

The event is less than a month away now. Anyone else want to post their ride route for others to join in?

OK
So I am leaving High Ridge at 7am going to Rockford ILL right turn to Libertyville.

Should arrive between lunch and dinner time----can't wait to see who's there already.

I have country driving skills---they are useless in Chicago.
So tell me there is a pizza place in town.
