Yes it is the angle of the camera, as the holder is just in front of my knee. Main reason for the second holder was the original holder was too far back on the right. The house is new (closed on 9/30/13), and did not want to bother with filling holes when I moved the holder. That and like I said I am a lefty and the wife is a righty (as in always right)
