• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's wrong with this picture?

I give whats wrong??

The tires are unidirectional. The "V" tread should point in the direction of travel so it draws water away from the centerline to help avoid hydroplaning.

The way this tire is mounted, it would pull water in to the tire as it revolves.

(Sad. Should we who haven't received delivery yet make a list of things like this to check before we drive away?!) :dontknow:

That SPYDER belongs to someone who had his wheels off and just put them back on the wrong side. This is not a BRP error.

Check the posting on Spydertalk.com. General discussion, "What's wrong with this picture." (Looks like they made the same mistake at BRP, too.)

If the tire has a inside and outside than you would need to mount one tire insideout to get the tread running the same way.wildwillie

Lamont, Sorry I missed you at Daytona. Hope you managed to stay dry! Sure wanted to see your Spyder and compare notes. As you know mine is at a dealer not running. I am to pick it up Monday "as is" and take it back to P'Cola and see if Daryll can come up with a fix. I hope to get with you one of these days.

Looks like I was wrong. Another site has pictures of this SPYDER prior to delivery with the tires backwards. It is a BRP error.
