• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So - brand new machine and I have this fault code. U0155 Canbus com error damaged wires. What’s up with that??? Also saw reference to SpyderCodes app. Supposed to be free but App Store shows $15.99! Plus on 10.03 firmware - ugh 😖. Guess it needs to go to the doctor. Only had it five days 😭

with your warranty , you are covered , and damaged wires could really be just 2 plug connectors , pulled apart , not making a threw contact ... ( the on board computer sees the gap in the electronics , and can only think there is damaged wires , when in fact it might be just connectors not clipped )

Also while you are going to the dealer check to make sure your software has been updated to version 13.20

It's a plug connector problem most likely.
Take it back to the dealer.

Yes spyderCodes (the iOS version) is no longer free.
It was for seven years.
The android version is still free, Soon to to be a paid app.

Because of rising the developer of the app now charges for it,but it is worth every penny and you can use it for so much more then just looking up code #s
However on a unit this new you should be hotfooting it over to the dealer and having them fix it. You bought new,you have a warranty, make them stand behind it.

Wow Great answer Don't worry under warranty. I read that too often. My wife loves her machine, but damm they are finicky! What happens when you are out of warranty?

9/12/18/ update: I had her in to the doctor yesterday. The firmware update is actually a "recall" item - wonder why the selling dealer didn't do/check this when doing the prep....:banghead:

The fault code was apparently caused by "the heat here on the air intake sensor - reset sensor" - according to the service rep. Sounds fishy to me. Yes I live in the Desert SW and the machines are made in the Great White North, but really???? Anyone ever had or heard of this issue???

glad for you

hey luna , glad it was that easy , right the codes down as you go , and it will be a starting point for the future , incase something happens again ...
