What's up with the audio? 2018 RT Limited

So we just purchased a leftover 2018 RT Limited. The audio system seems to be pretty bad, even for a stock system. Is this the norm?

Sorry but what does that mean? What functions of the audio system are pretty bad? My 2018 F3L has the same audio system and it is excellent. That is using my phone as the audio source. The volume is loud and audio clear. FM radio is basically useless.

I have a 2018 RTL Spyder as well.
Basically the FM radio I find is awkward and counter intuitive to use with poor reception. I am surprised at how poor it sounds in this day and age.

Upgrading to the latest version of firmware (20.8) significantly improves performance of the audio system although FM reception remains less than optimal.

Yes, the FM receptions sucks. The sound quality on bluetooth or when it's plugged into the bike is very low. Volume is low also.

My FM works really good when I had problems with the phone music. (back when I had earlier dash version). To help figure things out get the 2019 operators manual for the Ltd.
