There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi Everyone
What is the going price for an alignment on a 2017 RT?
I had an estimate of $600.00 and went for a $320.00 dealer, then when I got there, it was bumped to $420.00. Prices are going out the roof.
Thanks Rich :yikes:

Is it darting around on the road? RU a new spyder rider? If so maybe it is you and not the machine. Out of the open road you need to just guide it along and not try to steer it! If you need to correct a little to the left, then put a little pressure forward on the right handle bar end. And the reverse to the other direction.

Sure, but it never hurts to make sure your alignment is good in the first place, Snoking, otherwise all those tips won’t make a difference. However, that alignment price is enough to baulk at

$$$$$$ alignment

Did they do a " LAZER " alignment (dealers generally don't have the equipment - plus BRP doesn't use that method) .... I got mine done by the "Netzley's" at SpyderQuest in NY cost $125.00 2 years ago .... Mike

I don’t know about that Mike....my dealer has the Rolo. They checked mine, at my request, a year after I bought it and all was well. I wasn’t experiencing any problem, just wanted confirmation.

I think several dealers have the right equipment, but do they have a tech that knows how to use it?

I did use the TERM " generally " .... On the rolo website they list all the DEALERS that have it ..... doesn't look like many to me :ohyea: ....................Mike

Rich - I just had my 2018 Spyder RT Ltd aligned by my local BRP/Spyder dealership. The cost was $178.50.

Blake33 was this a laser alignment ? i just got quoted $650 for laser alignment. The only adjustable items appear to be toe and the steering sensor. I was told there is no camber adjustment at all. They wanted to charge me $175 to diagnose first !!! so $825 And I was quoted $400 3 weeks ago, no additional fees...

BTW this is Mountain Motorsports in Marietta GA.

If someone could look up the parts diagram and look to see if the upper and lower arms could be adjusted via shims on the arms where they mount to the frame, I would appreciate it. Shims would be a very inexpensive way to add or remove camber as the fronts are no driven wheels.

Looks like the 2019 RTL front A arms both upper and lower terminate in 2 round bushings. I will have to look further into the diagram for the frame to see if the pivot/attachment bolts are in a bracket bolted to the frame.. Would it be possible to use offset camber bolts to achieve that perfect alignment ? Might require new bushings on the A arms too. Are new bushings available from Can Am separate from the A Arm or aftermarket ones available? What material are they made of ? Mounting brackets for the A arm pivot bolts?

You’re in Greensboro, either shoot over to the Ohio south rally June 13th or so and Netzley do it or shoot straight up to Netzley in NY. They will do a laser alignment for $100.

Got the Spyder laser aligned today at Extreme Propulsion in Cartersville GA. Very nice folks to deal with. They do have a Spyder specialist who has done many TLT alignments . They can also do Slingshots if you have one ( I have a 2019 SLR too )
Spyder rides better / is less twitchy now. Tech said it was def toed out :-(
If I need to go further, what should i do in terms of the 1. tires (stock Kendas on there now ) 2. shocks ( stock ones on there now )
Hopefully i dont need to but JIC :-)

I blew a tire this morning hitting a pot hole. I bought a new tire and RideNow in Peoria charged me $129 for a laser alignment.
