There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What's the extra Switch on the 2020 RT Limited for?

Does anyone know what the extra switch is for on the RT Limited panel. I've got switches for the seat heaters, grip heaters, and the windshield.
There's one extra switch. I thought it was for the auxiliary light on the front, but I'm told that it's not. What else could it be ?
It's just a blank switch cover.
I know I'm being anal.
I may come up with some kind of graphic to install on it that says "spare".

CanAm calls it an accessory light switch and you say your dealer is installing an auxiliary light kit. May be two different things. The accessory light switch has low, high, and off positions. Sounds to me like your dealer may be installing an after market auxiliary light.....? Or perhaps the switch is "sold separately"..... Jim

The extra switch slot is for the front lower accessory LED light. When the light kit supplied you pop out front lower cover. It has a plug on back, remove plug and connect it to LED lamp bar and install lamp. Pop out the blank switch cover on dash, it has plug on back of it. Connect plug on to supplied switch assembly in kit. Snap ne w switch into dash. It's a DIY install by BRP.

Ive installed the front auxiliary light and there is NO switch. Somewhere along the line they changed their mind and wired the light directly to the running lights. So for now, its just a blank with no apparent purpose.

Did you pop out the blank to see if front light wiring there? My dealer assured me of the front lower light being switched at the blank spot.
They showed us an info sheet on front lower LED accessory lamp. My new Spyder just arriving in crate. I'll confirm with tech as I don't want it on all the time.

Yes, that is the light that I'm talking about. I'm having it installed next week. The dealer has assured me there is NO switch in the kit.
I'm pretty anal. The blank switch located off center is driving me nuts. I think I'll put some graphic on it so it looks like it belongs.
I guess I'm in touch with my inner "Monk".

Is this the light you guys are referring to, the one at bottom? Part number 219400991. If so the installation instructions say nothing about a switch. It plugs into a connector behind the light. https://instructions.brp.com/conten...T - Auxiliary Light&rel_part_number=219400991

I had the light installed, and yes it goes on and stays on with the ignition. There is no light switch.
The blank on the console remains a blank. I had to put a little graphic on the blank switch to satisfy my OCD.

I hear you, but I just checked with the dealer, they'll be installing my auxiliary light next week and there's no switch in the kit.

The light to be installed in the front lower section runs when you turn the Spyder on. when you pop the front plate to put the accessory light in the plug for the light is attached to the space filler plate. you simply unplug and plug into the new light and screw it in with the 4 supplied screws. Takes about 10 minutes or less.

Mine had no plug it was an empty hole. so mine runs all the time the bike is on. no switch for that hole was supplied with the kit

I'm going to wire by American LED flag into that position so I can operate it when I chose and that' keeps the LEO in CA from pulling me over about having a blue light to the rear.
