• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the best way to clean Monolith Black Satin paint?

Just bought a 2023 F3-S in Monolith Black Satin. What is the best way to clean that kind of paint. Should i wax it? I've never had a Satin finish on any of my bikes.

Chemical Guys SPI_995_16 Meticulous Matte Detailer and Spray Sealant, 16 oz, Orange, available on Amazon.
This stuff works great on my tri-black 2016 F3L

I think Lamont sells some Black Diamond that is for Matte finishes. If you check any harley store, they will have stuff for matte finishes also. I have found that F11 works for all finishes.

I use the chemical guys matte paint wash. Works. Doesn't put shine on the matte. Amazon.

My denim blue paint looks good using that cleaner.

I did some sniffing around about matte finishes; learned wax is matte's enemy.
YMMV

Another vote for Chemical Guys Matte/Satin finish wash - Meticulous Matte - for the big washes - I got it off Amazon

Lamonster has Black Dymond Matte detailer for quick touch ups - available from......... Lamonster
