• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the Best Sounding Exhaust for my RTL?

At the end of the day, there's only one person that tell you what you will like, and that's you. Myself the stock stuff works for me; I don't want to wear ear plugs while I ride out in the country side. To each his own, good luck in your quest!:coffee:

I feel the same way. I bought the Crusher muffler and it was not for me. It has nice sound when idle, but it was a bit loud at higher speeds. Fortunately I was able to sell it, albeit I took a loss, but at least the gentleman that bought it likes it.

I agree with some of the others, I like the stock exhaust just fine.
I got over all the loud noise exhaust's years ago.

I second, or third K80's comment. I ran the gamut of aftermarket exhausts. Last being Tri-Ovals on my Victory. We are liking the quiet of the RT-L.

One thing I haven't seen talked about on this forum (or at least this thread)- the Victory crowd (and I'm sure other makes as well) on the forums I followed, one way they modified their mufflers was to gut them and replace with some other innards. I am not reccommending this, nor have I tried it on any of the bikes I've owned, but you may want to research to see if that has been done on Spyders?

Just a thought.

I hope you find a sound that works for you.

Hell dont be a Pussy. Time to step up Dude. No 1/2 measures. Man Up.

Get some straight open pipes sorted and bent up to fit the Spyder frame with mounts in the correct spots.

Then you could join the Exceptionally Super Coowell Potato Factory Dudes on their extended road trips to the local Coffee Shop. :doorag:

I run a Two Brothers Racing exhaust connected to the RLS Polished Cat Delete pipe. LOVE the sound !! The combination provides a nice sound and is not obnoxiously loud ....

.... probably because I don't hear low frequencies very well, LOL.
