• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the best 3 wheeler on the market?

I kind of like what they offer up... It's just not really all that affordable! :gaah:
But they DO offer the Hossfly...
A V-8 powered barstool! :yikes:  HossFly.jpg

There are only 2 true 3 wheelers out there. The Spyder an Harley tri glide. The Honda Goldwing trike is a aftermarket kit. I studied all 3 before I bought my 2nd Spyder.. I will be honest tell you that I did look at the Harley first. But with it combing in at the mid 30's in price I just shook my head. The Spyder was 2nd that I looked at an with it comeing in from lower to mid 20's an havering everything that the Harley did plus more, I thought this was the bike for me. I then check the GW tike an it came in at 40 plus grand.. I said h3ll no an back to the Spyder I went. I ave rode both an hands down thespyder out handles the rest.

There are more than 2 out there. Stay tuned............

The best three wheeler on the market?--the one you decide to buy.

It is obvious that on this site most people are biased in favor of the :spyder2:. There are technical comparisons and opinions on this site and on a least three other sites I know of.

A cycle mag (I forgot which one--but think it was Rider), tried a couple years ago to do the Triglide, a Gold Wing trike and the Spyder RT in a side by side comparison. BRP would not supply a unit for the mag to use in the test. The GW won that one because of the technology and smoothness of the Wing.

The big issues in such a comparison are one versus two wheels in front, technology comparisons bike to bike, and finally price. The answers are all over the place. The best thing to do if not sure is give them all a test drive if possible.

No one loves their Spyder more than me, but there is also the Stallion. I have both and I must say that it is also a very nice ride. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that the Spyder has, but it has a lot more power, a larger fuel tank and is a more comfortable ride on a long trip. The Stallion handles better dealing with passing and following 18 wheelers. It and the Spyder draw about the same attention in "Rock Star" treatment. To sum it up, both have their good points. I love them both and can't see getting rid of "Pale Face" or "Trigger".
