• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's it for?

Hey all,

Can any one tell me what this post/valve/nipple is for on the right side and in front of the muffler on my 2012 rt ltd se5?
I ran over a curb the other day and broke this off completely, leaving a quarter size hole.
Patched up the hole and all is good there as far as noise is concerned.
This is the link to BRP parts showing the part in question. It is number 16/17.

Thanks in advance, you folks are the greatest.

It appears to be a test port that is capped off. I do not think it is anything to worry about, as long as your repair is sufficient.

Test port...

as long as you plugged the hole your fine. Used to balance cylinders as far as mixtures go. Have not seen them used very often. At some point you could have them weld on another...
