• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just bought a First Gear Mesh Tex and it is great. Forum member TeacherBob at powersports4less.com has great service and 5% off for Spyderlovers.

I got the Ultra II Air Mesh Jacket from Motoport/Cycle port. Custom fitted and outstanding quality. Couldn't be more pleased. But, because they are custom made, it takes about 4 weeks to get them. To me, what I got was worth waiting for. You will want rain gear because it is not waterproof without the lining and the lining makes it too hot for summer weather

I agree about the FirstGear. Both my wife and I have the jackets and pants. Great stuff!

AFAIK Moto/Cycleport makes the only kevlar mesh jacket.

Firstgear, Joe Rocket, Tourmaster, Olympia Motosports et al all make mesh jackets.

Pick the features/price point you want and spend your money. ;)

I just picked up a Fieldsheer High Flow Mesh Jacket and used it on the way home and was suprised at the air flow through this thing. Its got removable Armor and made of super abrasion resistant FS Polytitanium mesh and not kevlar. And Ballistic nylon and SP Memory foam in high impact areas for added protection.

Mine is a 3 piece number from Power-Trip. See www.power-trip.com. It can be configured as an all season, a mesh jacket or rain gear. Has built in removable armor. I used it all last year and I like it.

I have a mesh jacket but I get hot in that to, so I wear a EVS BJ22 motorcycle body armor. The air rushes right through it. You can find them on ebay for $121.95. I have had this armor since may of last year and I love it.:clap::yes:

riding protection

My Wife and I recently purchased the Fieldsheer Morph. Jacket. It's a three in one deal; the complete jacket is quite toasty and offers excellent protection and reflective visibility along with an inner liner that is also a rain jacket(removable), the double mesh jacket with the protective hardware(removable), is what we wear now.
