The 2013 RT V-Twin Spyders came with a separate Catalytic Converter or, in BRP's parts lists, a Primary Muffler - it was a necessary part of the frame & running gear upgrades that were intended for the 1330 Triple motor that didn't quite make it in time, so for the 2013 RT's they stuffed the longer V-Twin back into a hole that'd been optimised for the wider 1330 Triple...

And AFAIK, the 2013 ST's had that same 'separate Cat Converter' from 2013 & on too, so I
suspect that the RS's from 2013 & on were the same - I'm sure someone will chime in if that's not the case.
However, without going to a parts listing &/or waiting for any advice otherwise, since I can't recall with any certainty if/when the RS models got that same upgrade, I'd suggest that if you want a replacement
SINGLE PIECE muffler for an RS, with or without the included Cat Converter in it, then you'll need to get something suitable for the 2008-2012 GS/RS models, cos it's pretty likely they have a somewhat different engine pipe/header. But if you're after a replacement muffler for a 2013 & on RS, you'll most likely need a muffler suitable for the '
separate Cat Converter Exhaust System' - ie. 2013 & on. :2thumbs:
Mind you,
it'd help us a lot if we knew what year the RS you're chasing a muffler for actually was, only you haven't told us that?! :dontknow: If you haven't got a Spyder Garage entry &/or your Spyder's year/model listed in your Signature, then it'll save you the effort of needing to type it in on
every post
AND it'll help everyone else to help you if you follow the directions in the Sticky below (see post #4) and add that info to your Signature so that it appears on every post you make!
