• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Little checking..

We have a sponsor vendor ISCI on the home page that makes a hand brake kit somewhere around $1,300.00 You can check with them for the price. It will opereate the brakes just as the foot pedal does...Many have used this but there may be othere and some home made ones you could search out....

ISCI seems to be the vendor of choice for the handbrake set up. I don't recall others posting information about from scratch set ups. You can run into issues with "nanny" if it is not done right. ISCI is compatible.

ISCI Hand brake here too

+1 on the hand brake. It's pricey but well made and easy to install. I also use it most of the time over the foot pedal.

Just get using your foot brake and it will not cost you anything. I don't miss my old handbrake anymore. Its a matter of getting use to.

Mosess01 - If you buy the ISCI kit, need it installed, and you're near where AR, MO, KS, OK meet, I can help. I've done a couple of these for customers.

ISCI Handbrake

I installed the ISCI handbrake and bought the lever for small hands. Unfortunately my hands are still too small to adequately reach so I only use it some of the time. So I would say if you have average hands you will be fine with it.

It may have been asked before. Can you brake as hard in an emergency with the hand brake as the foot brake? Can you activate the abs?
