Depends on whether you want to transport it on its wheels, its side or the rear. :joke:

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand this question - measure your Spyder and find a trailer that meets your needs. There's more to it than just size; open trailer or enclosed? aluminum or steel? general purpose or designed specifically for the Spyder? How much garage or yard space do you have to work with? Fold-down ramp or detachable or none?

There have been many threads on the pros and cons of the various ways to transport a Spyder, with some important considerations (e.g. ground clearance) you may not have considered.

I have an Aluma 6810 that works very well. I can recommend it. However, with this model the wheels are outside the bed and make for a bigger package. If you need the smallest, then you want a different model - one where the wheels are underneath the bed. However, then the bed is much higher and that can be problematic for getting the Spyder loaded.

Model: 6810
Weight: 500#
Bed Size: 68.5" x 122"
Tires: 13"

The smallest that it would fit into is NOT the same as a size that would be safe to haul it in.

I'm guessing here a bit but I think you need at least 4 inches clearance on all sides to keep from banging the body parts into the sides of the trailer on an nasty bump. And when I was thinking about getting a bigger trailer, I was going to get one with a forward access door on BOTH sides so that you could lash down each front wheel a bit easier; that would be almost impossible if you have the bare minimum size and no adjacent door.

The above is assuming an enclosed trailer, of course.
With an open trailer......get out your tape measure.

Cargo mate makes a 6 1/2 x 10. That's what I bought. Plenty of room to get the Spyder in.

It would fit into a 6x9 trailer, and be tight...

But if you run it through a crusher first: you could probably just use a large tote! :roflblack:

I have a 6x10 triton tilt, all aluminum, open trailer. Plenty of room all around.
We built an enclosure over it. It's not pretty, but it is functional. The wheels are also
outside the trailer (15's). It works ok.

Triton Model Tilt 7210

I've been looking at them, and spoke to Jamie at their factory...
But I'm probably going to just get a Class C Toyhauler Motorhome instead...
With an 8x9 foot garage in the rear section...

+1:agree: Aluma 6810 works great with minor ramp mod to avoid hitting frunk front lip on ramp. Would love to have the TK1 underdeck ramp on a 6810.... Aerodynamics....

Exact one I have. Never needed to haul anything other than bikes until I had to trailer my Spyder to the dealer a few days ago. 2 or 3 inches on the sides at the front wheels and the floor d-ring tie downs make it a breeze to keep it where it needs to be.
