• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What will happen

I would love it if as a side benefit my resale or trade value went back up to where it should be.


I really don't think they are that far off any more. Fair would be just above similar milage 2012 and well below a 2014. Also don't forget that the 2013s were heavily discounted when new so the percentage loss in selling used is much lower than for other years.

My net loss for owning the 2013 (not including farkels that you never get back) was about $3500. Selling Louise RT would be even less of a loss. They were very bad for a while but have recovered well already.

Unfortunately, I spoke with my dealer about that issue just the other day when I dropped off my 2013 RT for the recall according to them the recall will probably not have much of an affect. I inquired as to why the low trade in value and he advised the changes in the technology from the 2013 to 2014 and the bigger motor and 6 speed transmission is where everyone is going. At least that is what was told to me.

That comment so closely parallels what I said here http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/...-problems-with-the-dealer&p=987575#post987575 that when I read it I thought you had plagiarized my post! But, comparing the posts I see that's not the case.

That makes two dealers who have said much the same thing regarding resale value of the 2013 RTs. Let's hope they're wrong!
