There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. There is another thread about what were you driving 30 years ago.

I did not want to hijack that thread since it is so good.

There are a few "older timers" around here--so just curious about what you rode way back in 1971.

I had a 1965 Honda 305 "Dream" that was my third and biggest bike to date.

No add ons--just the stock equipment--and I really loved that bike. I used to take my 4 year old for rides around the property--I know, I was not a safety nut back then, bad move safety wise, but he and I got lucky.

He would straddle the gas tank, put his hands up on the handle bars and say vroom, vroom. He absolutely loved riding with daddy.

Wow, 40 years ago......Bultaco 200 Matador, Bultaco TSS, Yamaha 360 enduro, and someplace in there, a Montessa, a Greeves, and for about an hour, an Ossa.

In 1971 my stable would have consisted of my 1965 Honda 305 Scrambler, my 1961 Honda CB92R, A hodaka Ace 90, my HD fuel bike, and a few parts bikes.

I had a BSA 650, a Norton 750, A Macco 250, a Honda 250 and the best was a 1967 GTO convertible with a 400, 4 speed positraction. I loved them all.

I was riding my brand new CB750K that I had paid cash for: $1605.57 OTD... what a ride!!!:doorag:

40 years ago was riding a '68 Suzuki 500 'till some old farmer forced me off the road, jumped a curb and went airborn. No helmet, but only suffered roadrash. Good Lord was looking after a fool. Missus offered a choice between me or the bike. Chose her...good choice. Finally three years ago got a '05 Shadow 750 Aero then moved up to an '09 V-Star 950 Tourer. After riding with me a while missus decided she wanted her own ride so got her an '08 RS.;);)

Was a Honda 175 then the widow maker 1970 Kawasaki 500 Mach lll. What a rush that bike was, but brakes was way bad. Also my 69 Tempest Lemans.

I was the so proud owner of my first of several VWs. A red 1965. Gosh I loved that bug. That's what I drove when the Missouri winters precluded taking my Honda 450 scrambler.
