• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

what was your first concert ?

Whom or what is this?

Sorry, not familiar with them. Tried to do a search, nothing came back.
Is that a simple spelling mistake if not, post links to YouTube vids, or pics of them. Thanks

Different times and, quite elevated circumstances as well.

Meanwhile... Back in Paris was quite the Psychedelic Show too...

I'm guessing Journey or REO Speedwagon in the late seventies. Can't think back that far.

Unless you you count the Navy's Big Bands that parents brought me to. :)

.

The Beach Boys - but later - in the early 70s.

Another, earlier than that, but not a concert. Before they made their first album, Kansas used to play at a dance club in my college town, and we would go there.

First concert was in junior high. Our music teacher took some of us to see Ferrante and Teicher. First rock concert was Iron Butterfly and The Tower of Power. I couldn't hear for a week after.

My first concert...

Opening act was REO Speedwagon. Main act was ZZ Top. Sometime around 1975 while in the NAVY, my ship was stationed in Norfolk, VA. It was at some arena in the Norfolk area.

Back about that time; ZZ Top was trying to "play" a lot of their gigs, when they were just too drunk to do so...
How were they, on that evening?

Frankie Valley & The Four Seasons August 1964 Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Two days before I left for the Navy. Only one other concert after that. Don't even remember who it was.

Johnny Cash, June Carter, and the Statler Brothers. The Statlers were a warm up act then.

Sorry guys, I am in a slightly different place compared to most of your music.
