• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What trailer for getting Spyder home from a far away dealer?

Check your local Tractor Supply store. The one near us has a 10 foot rental trailer that will fit a Spyder. Wish they would have had it when I bought mine and hauled it home from Lynchburg, VA. Had to get 12 foot landscape rental trailer.

heading to the dealer this morning,, cant pass up the deal, i will deal with getting it home after i buy it,,
2020 Can-Am Spyder F3 Limited Dark Edition Magma Red Metallic
On Sale $22,499.00 Was $24,499.00.. insurance will be around 145.00 a yr..

If you decide to trailer it home - bigger the better. An open trailer will give you more tie down options, unless you have a enclosed trailer with tie downs installed. Bigger trailer gives you more room to get around bike and tie down properly. If you haven't already, download operators guide and read through "How to Transport the Vehicle". It's not rocket science and three ratchet straps will do it - no chains. Make sure Spyder is secure and stop a couple times throughout the trip to inspect straps and re-tighten if needed.

:congrats: Have fun!!!

thanks but not yet,, called dealer and said i was on my way, he said he would go pull it off the floor,, then called back and said it has a hold on it, for someone that is coming this morning also, but they have a trade in,, if they dont make a deal, then he said its mine... just my luck..lol

You could also take public transport, bus, rail, plane, and finally taxi to the dealer.

LMAO...no public transport. no bus's . no rails. no planes, i wont fly anyways, and finally no taxi's where i live either.........no call from dealer, so i missed out , i was a day late....

I live in SE PA. PM me if interested in help getting it home. I have a trailer if the distance is reasonable. Who/where is the dealer?

ive located a 7x12 open trailer a friend has, ordered a new set of ratchet straps to secure it, i will be making the trip this week , when its sunny and dry,, if that happens... cant wait to get it home and in the garage so i can look at it,,lol... truck will be outside for awhile,,, spyder takes priorty now..

Living in Upperstate and probably a snowmobile rider too I’d assume watch the cinders coming off your winter tires being thrown back onto your new spyder. A salt shield and low mud flaps might want to be considered. Western NY is now pretty much salt free ( all washed away last week) accept the center crown but the cinders are all in the center grooves still and on side of road.

Do not put a tarp over it. Leave it exposed to the elements. The flapping of a tarp can, or will, scuff the paint.
