• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What to do when you can't ride

Plan trips, think about trips, read these forums for ideas about trips, reminisce about past trips, resist the urge to go on a trip (even if its only a lap of the main street in our town and back home).....time with the Grandkids, cant wait to take them on a trip :ohyea: and study. I'm an I.T. contractor and certifications and study consume a lot of my downtime.

Sounds like you like trips.

I find that at 72, things have slowed down for me.... My body just can't keep up with what my mind would like to accomplish.... Also I did some work on the Cobra after putting that back on the road in Aug..... annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I just love driving my toys …. all work and no fun is not how I operate any more. …. this winter I plan to build the front half of the new frame I will need for the new front suspension that I'm going to use. ….. Thanks for asking …. I'll add pics to my " 917 " album and post them here …… Mike :ohyea:
I know exactly how you feel. my mind has lots of plans but it's going to take a younger body to do them. I would much rather ride or visit the grand kids, kids and my siblings then do projects. Where is that magic wand?:roflblack:

Magic Wand

:coffee: The old body just seems to get more aches and pains than I know what to do.
Still have the time to get out there and enjoy the fun.....

Oh to be 72 again! Back then, I was taking delivery of a new 2010 Victory Cross Roads that I rode often and hard until spring of 2019 when the hip gave me grief and was mis-diagnosed as something permanent and sold it and got my F3L so I can stay in the wind. Turns out I needed a hip replacement, got it, and I have no regrets about switching to 3 wheels.
Getting back on subject; When the dust settles from the hip job, going to be adding a sway bar and maybe a bump skid while she's in the air.

I'm lucky. In South Carolina Carolina we have about 6 weeks of winter, but they are not in a row. It gets cold, then warm, and back to cold again, so our riding season really doesn't end.

Ever thought of becoming a detective :)

Its a beautiful spring morning here about 25 degrees C, gentle wind (Lots of smoke haze from the bush fires), just the kind of day I would much prefer spending in the RTL Saddle than my office chair.... though I recognize that I would not be alone in that thought.
