Good article.

Not to change the subject, but the first paragraph is a good example of one of the reasons I don't ride in groups with people I don't know. This girl on the Ducati should not have been leading a group, especially 150 bikes.

:agree: Don't like accidents especially when I am the first one on the scene. ALWAYS good to be prepared to help. Oh, I ride with an RN on the :spyder2: with me. Hope if one of us gets hurt it is me.

I plan to take the Accident Scene Management Class the next time it is offered in town. In addition to attending to the accident victim the class also teaches how to manage the rest of the group to prevent additional accidents from happening. The HOG group we rode with in Michigan had several trained people and we were on a group ride with them and around 40 bikes when one was struck by a deer. They did a fantastic job controlling the scene.
