• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What to do if you DO NOT want a 2014 RT.

Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take a 2014 RT for a test drive if you do not want to purchase one!

Ya, i've been trying to sell my RS but I am going to keep it for this riding season not unless somebody comes by with some serious cash.

So true. We bought a second 2014 RT-S yesterday. Since we all ready had the RT-S, we were really wanting to purchase a 2014 ST-S/L. We test drove the ST and loved it but when comparing the 1330 and the 990 it was a no brainer...1330 rocks! Also the price difference between the 2014 ST-L and the 2014 RT-S was only $3,200 and that pushed us back to the RT-S with the 1330. Again be prepared to pay close to full price for the 2014 RT-S. We were able to negotiate a free tri axis handlebar in the deal along with discounts on clothing and accessories.

I drove one couple weeks ago but not in the cards for me in the near future anyway

The test drive kind of says it all if you are interested in the differences between engines, tranny, power, and ride.

I am noticing a trend of people now buying these two at a time :yikes:
Am guessing that BRP is very happy with the trend
.

2014 test ride

Today, and I did like it much better than the 2011 that I tried out a few weeks ago.I also liked the paddle shift ,and never thought I would be interested in that at all.I think there will be a 2014 spyder in my future. It will be after I recover from the surgery that I am having on Wednesday .

Hope the surgery goes well.

Test drove a 14' RT

I am off the subject on this.

I took a Test drive on a 14RT-SE6 @ SF and it was a Good Mistake. Now I want 1. If I can work it in my budget I will get one. My wallet says NO,NO,NO this year. I wait until the 15's come out. Deanna777

Yeah..!!

the safest way to stay out of trouble is not to test ryde the 2014 RT's...I don't have a problem because it's an RT.....so if you want to feel the differences..have a friend drop you off..you'll have a ryde home...:roflblack::roflblack:
