What Time is It?

The date and time are indicated at the end of for each post. Since the members of the forum are from all across the counrty, can anyone tell me if the post is timed for the zone of the poster or the time zone of the location of the board? I know it is not a world ending issue, I know, but being on the west coast, it would be nice to know when some of the posts are made.

I am in EDT and it shows 5:46 and it is currently 5:47 here.

The time posted is converted to whatever time zone you are in...:thumbup:

Well..!!

it shows the time where you are. Like gps knows where you are. Now my phone doesn't all my messages are on Conn. time I live in Cal. Should change my number I guess...:roflblack:

In your user settings is a time zone selection and if you want DST settings.
What you set in there will be the time "for you" not the time from a poster in say England.
If you want to know true times set for GMT in your settings.
