• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:helpsmilie:I found this weird disconnected rubber plug connecter while installing a new set of Fox shocks. It's on the Left hand side, (if your in the riding position), directly above the top of the Left shock. It also looks like there's 2 female Spade connectors inside of this rubber plug, & they almost appear to have some sort of hot glue in them? ANYone know WTH this is, & why it's not connected to anything? Here's a few images...

Well.. IMO, they're MUCH more stable on it's mid range setting that the stock shocks were on it's highest setting. For example.. I'm 195 lbs & I was able to sit on the bike & rock the Spyder from side to side easily by wiggling by hips. (don't do this in public by the way ;)). Was so soft, the bike would lean when I stepped on pegs to mount the dang thing. With the Fox shocks installed in the out-of-the-box mid range setting, it's nice & solid. Feels very stable when turning, where it would lean heavily with stock. I plan to tweak it a bit more & maybe go a bit higher so I can whip thru turns with a grin on my face. We'll see. All-in-all, I'm very pleased with them.

Look what happens! :gaah: You find ONE loose plug and it's off to the dealer to find just the right farkle to fill it! :roflblack: :2thumbs:

Do all of the models have these or just the RTs? I have a 2012 RS and was wondering why there is no hole in the trunk for the 12v outlet as I saw in some pictures. If it is just a matter of buying the part and then finding this mystical wire to connect, I am all for it.

This is for the RS's, but not sure about the RT's. You need to remove the frunk (real easy), drill the hole, connect wire, and reinstall the frunk. Takes longer to pull and replace the frunk than anything else. You also need to install a 3 amp fuse in the fuse box for it to get power.

Yes you can put a 12v outlet on the RS,there is the same booted connector and when you buy the outlet from dealer it comes with template for drilling hole in frunk and instructions. It's easier to install with the frunk off(not hard to do)but I guess you could do it without removing frunk, but it would be a PITA.
