• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We went to one of our local dealers today (we have several within 40 miles) and took an F3 Limited out for a test ride. This model was already equipped with the driver & passenger back rests, tall boy windshield, fog lights, and signature light and was the special series in the triple black.
All I can say is WOW!! Was I aver impressed, that F3 absolutely puts my ST to shame, in every way.
The engine, the SE6, the handling and the rear air suspension. It was comfortable, smooth and man could that thing accelerate.
I put a couple thousand into my ST to get it to handle and this bone stock F3 will blow it away.
The only thing I don't need is the tall boy windshield was too tall, I kinda looked over It & through it at the same time.
I absolutely loved that F3.:2thumbs:

F-3 WINDSHIELD

Dave if you have your mind set on THAT one ---- the windshield can be trimmed it's not difficult :thumbup::thumbup:...Mike :bbq:

Love the f3.

Can't convince myself that it is made for 2 up.

Was looking at both today rt &f3 and dealer said the same thing.

I would love ONE

So......... what the h#** ARE you waiting for?? Buy the darn thing!!:thumbup: :doorag:

The wife says not yet, even though I think she really liked it.

A shame you missed this - it went for a couple thousand under MSRP for the base F3-S. The winner got a great deal!

No "S" model I want the T or Limited and after hearing the radio in this one I would want the limited.

I am not concerned with the windshield, this is a demo and they wont be selling this one for a few months. The standard windshield is more than adequate.

See the comment about the wife above.

Sharon thought the rear seat on the Limited felt pretty good, Not as comfy as the Ultimate seat on our ST but she said it was not bad. But we only went 5 or maybe 8 miles so 200 miles would be the true test. Seats can be changed, Now the whole rear airbag thing that is for real what a difference that is over just a plain old coil over shock, and I have a good coil over on my ST (ELKA) and it cannot compare to the ride quality of the air bag.

This wasn't any S model and it had a killer radio. It had the following customization:

Road Warrior Edition F3 MODIFICATION LIST:
Custom Shark 1000w 4ch motorcycle audio system remotes, FM, SD, USB
Lamonster Garage IPS Appearance Package frame caps
Lamonster Garage Bar Ends
Lamonster Garage Grab Handles
Lamonster Garage IPS Key
Lamonster Garage Emblem and wheel cap kit
BRP Rear Seat Trunk Cowling
Aftermarket Heated Handgrips
Spyder Pops Bumpskid
Custom Cerakoted Wheels, Exhaust and Accents
Custom Road Warrior Foundation Wrap

Dave...
 You have always got to keep "SWMBO" happy...
But that doesn't mean that you have to give up all hope... :D
After all: It only cost Cruzr Joe a set of marble countertops; look at what he's riding on now! :2thumbs:

Oh I certainly am not giving up. The first step was to see if she felt comfortable on it. Next is to convince her that buying now is better than later. This one will be tough as she knows BRP will start throwing the rebates out maybe September time frame.
I did ask her this morning to think of something that we can get airbrushed on the Steel Black hood after we bring it home.

Test rydes....

You now know, now you need to make up yours and the wifes mind to go for it if budget allows. Those test rydes can mess with you big time...:roflblack: but the doubts you are tossing about to justify not going there are really weak...:lecturef_smilie:Your going there ...the thing is when...

Don't forget to throw in the occasional mention of granite countertops... :D

She is not getting granite countertops, but she is getting an asphalt driveway on Tuesday, all 370 feet of it plus the parking areas. It only took 18 years for that.
