• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What recall?

I stopped by the dealer where I bought my 13 RTS SE5 today to ask if they had any info about the fix for the heat. I was told that the service manager and technician were no longer there. But, I asked at the service desk if they had any info about the recall for my 13 RTS. The response was "What recall?" I kid you not.

Most all 2013 RT owners..

...will find out the details of the heat-related recall right here on Spyderlovers.com - - prior to even dealers figuring it out.

Just my guess.

No service manager, no technician, what recall???

Now that sounds like a fantastic dealer to do business with. :yikes::yikes:

Once the fix information is posted, I certainly recommend going someplace else. I would not let that (dealership????) even check air in my tires.

Gotta say..!!

if the service manager and the tech were longer there they are not a dealer any longer and probably don't know...:banghead: time to move on..

What I meant to say was that the service manager and technician I have always dealt with have left. They must have a new tech, which I have not met, and likely will not meet.

If they were good and left on their own, or were fired for something stupid, then its time to move on to greener pastors and a better dealer. I purchased my used Spyder from a dealer that made me feel dirty after the deal was done (I got a really good deal, but.......) - I have never gone back for anything from them.

Dropped my '013 off yesterday for the 9,400 mile service and before I could say anything the service manager pulled out the recall letter and read it to me. Said they'd call me when parts are available and set up an appointment for me.
