For raingear, I use textiles. Have one CanAm textile jacket and a couple Firstgear. Also use Firstgear pants. Nothing light weight here. When it rains, its cold and miserable--so the heavy stuff works fine. All have zip in liners for even colder weather.

I use Frog Toggs, don't know what you would consider expensive, but less than $100.

Frogg Toggs are the choice for the mrs & I

I had Frog Toggs and gave them up for Tourmaster elite. A lot more expensive but can compare the quality and comfort.

I've used a TourMaster Elite for years. Pants seem to have shrunk, bought a pair of Olympia pants which have worked out well also. Do not seem as hot as the older stuff.

I guess I'm the odd man out, didn't have good luck with Frog Toggs. I really like my River Road High 'N Dry rain suit.

Never had much luck with Frog Toggs either,about the second or third time throwing a leg over the bike the crotch ripped out and then your nads get very wet:yikes:

I have an extra set of Frogg Toggs, Mens Large, Hi-Vis Yellow. Never used and Like new.
Note, these are cut very large to fit over riding gear...

Frog toggs are great, with Canams better. Had them for years as light small emergency gear with two wheel bikes but they will melt on a hot exhaust. not an issue with the Canam. Bass Pro and other outdoor stores have them look for sales. They pack small and are light wight.:doorag:
