• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Proof of Extended Warranty did you get?

Purchased a new 2022 RT Limited this year and also bought the 3 year Extended warranty. I am not seeing anything in my paperwork that shows this? Can anyone confirm if, and what, they received showing they are covered for the additional period of the BEST warranty? Thanks in advance.

I received an email from BRP with a contract number. It took a few days (maybe a week) after I paid, but they did send an email. I have it printed out and stored with my registration (not sure if I need that or not, but that is me).

Yes, I did it for peace of mind; hope to never use it... knock on wood!

I have a '21 RT with 7500 miles and no problems. I may want to sell it in a year or so and I'm coming up on my deadline for an extended warranty next month. I would purchase through Imotorsports as that seems to be the place to go for best price.

My question is if i sell in the next year and have no mechanical problems would it be worth it in a sale to a new owner to have several years remaining on an extended warranty? If not I would just take the chance that in another several thousand miles of riding that I won't have any mechanical issues. It has been well maintained.

That would depend on the buyer. Most people would prefer to have some type of warranty.

The warranty is an excellent selling point for most buyers.
BTW, I asked my local dealer if he could come close to the imotorsports price and he matched it. Worth the ask and gives support to the local guy.

after I bought the extended warranty, I received a paper card from Best warranty with contact info if i needed it, to verify my purchase. This was in 2017

I agree with the warranty being a good selling tool. Great point about where to buy the warranty as well. I know my dealer made me the same offer, but I have not purchased it yet.

A few years ago when I purchased my Ryker I purchased the 36 month BEST warranty through Imotorsports. This is what they sent me in an email.

I received the same email when I purchased the BEST warranty from Imotorsports in October 2022. Just recently I received a snail mail, hard copy of the same from Thomas Palmer.

Who did you deal with at Imotorsports? Thanks!

Ask for Thomas Palmer and mention that you're a member of Spyderlovers.com

Just bought my extended warranty from Thomas at iMotorsports 2 weeks ago. Easy as giving my VIN number and credit card number and was done at the price quoted here by everyone else. Received immediate email with a sheet containing info about my Spyder. The last line on the sheet gives the expiration date of the extended warranty. They followed up with a hard copy of the same document by USPS.

I see that everyone who purchased a BEST Warranty not at the time and place of purchase has received a receipt. Thanks would seem reasonable as you purchased a product with a credit card. When I purchased mine at the place and time of purchase at the dealership I never received anything as you all have. The information was entered into the system so that if, when and wherever I go and need to use the agreement no paperwork or identification of ownership or policy is required.

That’s my understanding that any dealer anywhere can pull up my info and see that my Spyder is covered by the BEST extended warranty.
