• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hi guys.
question to help out a buddy.what pressure reading should you get at the shraeder valve if you had the shocker on max setting and min setting.its a 2012 rt ltd 998 cc
its just he cant get a roll in hoist under his middle chassis rail, its too low.i checked it at max setting and it read 32 psi.
also for general info, will the air pump only run when the bikes in gear and moving.as you cant hear the air pump fire up at rest.

thanks and cheers
stu ;)

Stu, the answers to both of your questions are in the Owners Manual. There also is a sticker located near the schrader valve that has the pressure settings. The Spyder must be running and in gear for the compressor to kick on. 32 psi is pretty low, I believe the maximum is around 65 psi.

If you don't have the manual you can look it up online at www.can-am.brp.com under the Owners tab.

When I had my 2012 RT, I kept the shock air at 50lbs at all times. About half the time that was with 2 up riding. Seemed to be a happy medium for me and Pebbles.

The ACS system in that Limited will vary the air pressure, to maintain a constant ride-height.
Since this is all based upon the load on the bike: it's impossible to give you a pressure reading. :dontknow:
As long as the system works: forget about it, and let it do it's thing!

Bob is correct in that the air suspension is position based on the Limited. If you need to raise the rear a bit, with the key off add air to the schrader valve and the bike will come up. When finished with the maintenance just ride the bike and it will reposition itself. The beauty of a Limited:thumbup:

It might be a bit simpler to ride the rear or front tire up on a 2 x 6 to get the jack in.
