• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm a Biker to the core, anything in the wind!

I have been riding on the back since 1973 (opps telling my age:opps:) but have had 3 of my own bikes. I never did too well on two wheels:banghead: just could not get it or I'm balanced impaired. Oh well I don't have to worry about the balance any more :spyder::spyder::spyder:is the way to go. I hang with bikers, drink with bikers, ride with bikers, have biker neighbors, hubby is a biker, don't work with bikers (can't have it all) Oh my cats MAY be bikers.
I also do other things but I do LOVE to ride:yes:

We gotta go out for !

Currently I'm out of a ride. I traded my 2006 honda ST1300 and put a deposit down for a red Spyder which is on order. I'm told it will arrive sometimess in early September, maybe as soon as the end of August. I can't wait! I've driven the silver demo at my dealer countless times and really enjoy how much fun the Spyder really is. My past bikes besides the ST1300 were a 2005 honda Interceptor,1997 honda 750 magna and a 1986 Suzuki 550L. For now I just have to be patient for the Spyder to arrive.

I've been riding some form of 2 wheels since I was 7 years old. My dad bought me my first dirt bike at an auction and we rebuilt it together. When I was 14 he got me a moped and my moped license. At 16 he bought me my first street bike and I haven't looked back since. Moving to Florida was the best thing I ever did because now I ride year round. Haven't even had to put gas in the cars tank for a month and a half now.

Funny thing is while my dad totally supported my love of 2 wheels and bought me a lot of dirtbikes and a couple sport bikes as a teenager he never rode a motorcycle himself and didn't care to.

My current stable, 1967 Triumph, 02 Yamaha Warrior and 06 Kawasaki ZX14 and my Spyder.

ride history?

Started on a '48 cushman step through that I rebuilt in 1955, Whizzer, Triumph Cub, Simplex, Puch (Sears), Lambretta, H-D WLA, Enfield, couple of pans, Hondas, Yamahas, Maicos, Bultacos, Ossa, Montessa, Greeves, '59 Triumph 500, (these are not in any order), now a Spyder and I'm beginning to lust after a Triumph Speedmaster and maybe a Piaggio MP3 500. Been riding close to 53 years, and as long as the back and legs hold out, I ain't quittin'.
