• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is your belt gap?

I was actually in a dealership yesterday that had (2) RT's and (4) f3's and i looked at everyone of the drive belts to see where they were sitting. Everyone of them were right up against the flange. I put a credit card in between the gap and flange on each one and only (1) was set to where I was able to even begin to push the card in between them.

So apparently, BRP sets them to run right up against the flange now. I had my tension set on my RT and it's right against the flange too. Before it was a card width off the flange. But they said the belt hardly had any tension on it before. I had noticed though from before the adjustment and now, the rear wheel gets a lot dirtier with it right up against the flange. Not sure if it's dust from the belt or what but I may try to move it to the left just a little.

Can't really go by that since they may have been backed into place and that would throw the measurement off for sure.

Thought I'd post on here and ask what everyone is running for belt gap. See what people like best or if there is any difference.

I'm running looks to be about 3mm from the inside.

What is everyone else running. And is my setting no good?

Mine is pretty close to the same as yours. At one point mine was right up against the flange and could periodically smell a bit of a burnt rubber smell. Mine is perhaps a hair closer to the flange but hard to tell. Mine has been that way for well over a year now with no problems. It does move close to the flange when I back up but that doesn't matter.
