• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is this?

While doing an inspection in anticipation of installing a new Elka Rear shock on my 2011 LTD, I noticed this item that looks like it should be connected to the part below.

Can some one tell me what this is and what piece is missing?
It is located on the Right Rear right next to drive belt near rear shock.

What problems will (or should) I have had with it being disconnected?

Does it need a special part to connect together?

Just got it back yesterday from shop for a coolant leak and don't really want to have to put back together and take back if I can fix myself.

Thanks for any info.

OUCH! This is the same thing I found on my 2011 RT Limited when I first got it. This needs to be connected in order for the suspension to work correctly. Just need to put a bolt through it but I used a Zip Tie to hold it place until I took it back to the dealer. Depending on where the sensor is positioned it may fill the air bag all the way and cause a really rough ride. I was also getting "Manual" message in the display when this happened.
