• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is this for?

My friend just got a new 2018 F3 Limited. Knowing I'm good at electrical work, he asked me to install a couple of LED light. Looking for a convenient place to put a switch, I decided to pop the small round plastic plug to the right of the ignition to install a mini switch thinking that it was just to cover a hole. Surprise. there was a very small plug with wires attached to the back of it. Look like it was doing nothing. Needless to say, I had to find another location for my switch. So, my question is: What is that plug for? Sorry, I didn't think of taking a picture of it.

There you have it....

I have made a wiring harness a time or two and most who do find it easier in the long run to make one harness for all models and use the plugs and connections as needed. You may find other connectors not going anywhere as well. Not to say you can use it for the lights you are hooking up. Just find the other end where the fog lights go and go from there....

2018 F3 here, if the right plug is for fog lights that I have already installed what is the left plug for? it also has a wiring harness already there.
