• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can someone please tell me what tension I should tighten Sump plug and Magnetic plug to

the manual says 30nm for sump plus
it just seems quite heavy to my I dont want to strip it

The torque specifications are for clean, dry threads. Any oil plug that goes in the bottom of a sump will never have clean, dry threads. The oil on the threads will allow the plugs to easily be over-tightened.

Don't know of any torque specs that apply to oily threads. I just tighten the plugs with a shorty ratchet until they contact and then about a 1/4 turn more. I don't use the metal crush washers neither. I use these.......

they are like fiber sandwich washers, made for car drain plugs, but work well on the Spyder plugs.

Never had a leak and easy to get the plugs out next time.

M6 and M27 for 2019 F3-S.................... Don't know what size you might need.
