• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Curious as i'm getting into financial problems. I own (paid in full) a 2016 F3 Limited Special series w/ only 1050 miles on it. I know from reading here that trying to sell these bikes is not an easy task w/o taking a beating but i'm curious from members here as to what they think a brand new bike with only 1050 miles on it and not a scratch, would be worth. Reasonable price that would benefit both me and the buyer. Thx in advance for any input!!

What extras have you put on it?

ONly things added are the Garmin GPS with Lamonster's mount in middle of handle bars, the BRP audio dongle (for bluetooth), bluetooth module for piping audio FROM phone/MP3/iPod to bike stereo system. Fender lights & blinkers, Brake blinking taillight, Halogen headlights. Lamonster's blinkers on mirrors. Large brake pedal.

Expect to lose 25% or slightly higher. That's where the offers will start coming in at. Depreciation sucks. :sour:

Somewhere around 19k. They can be purchased new for 22. Yours is used and a year old. Current model is 2017. Yes, depreciation sucks.

just too help the figures , 2012 , r-t with 5500 miles , blue book value I do believe is around 14,ooo.oo ------- purchased at 11,500 brand new I think they were in the 22,ooo range

Agree

I agree that 19k range is probably where you are at. I bought new six months ago for $22...

Sorry to to hear about the financial troubles...hope all works out for you.

Sad news...

do hope your situation improves  but the 19,000 seems to be a good starting point. Good luck with the sale....

Dude,I feel for ya. I actually just paid 19,250 out the door for a brand new 2016 f3s special series. The depreciation really does sukk. I believe you lose about 44% in the first year...:banghead:
I wish you much luck in reselling your bike. A dealer/stealer isn't gonna give you prolly nuthin more than what N.A.D.A sez and 10% less than that.

I would ask $19,000 but doubt if you will find a buyer over $17,500. Unfortunately all those "Farkles" that we install are meaningless to buyers. Half way between High and

Low on NADA or Kelley Bluebook usually sets the price. If you are financing thats what your lender is looking at. If not it is really the closest to the real "value".

Both dealers here in Tucson have new (2016's) F3's discounted from $15,000 to $17,000. (reality suck's sometimes)
