• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the most

This question is gonna keep coming up by all the new riders coming onboard. It would be nice if some clever person with time on their hands could scan all the various tires used, sizes, etc and make it a sticky, maybe in some form that could be added to?

I departed a bit from the norm and put a 205/60-15 General Altimax RT on mine and it didn't upset Nanny. I chose a high milage tire as I'm a modest rider and wanted something that will give me more than 11K that the OEM gave. According to GPS my speedo is exactly 1 mile faster at all speeds.

Do you remember what the wear rating was for your General?
The Falken was 360.
I've put mine under the gun a couple of times, and mile speedo also reads just mph high at highway speeds as well. :2thumbs:

I can't believe that I'm gonna say this...
But seriously...
I really like my Falken ZE 912!
I ordered one of these late Sunday night and hopefully it arrives before the weekend. One of the reasons I picked that tire after much research on the board was it was also highly rated on Consumer Reports as well.

Consumer reports only listed two issues: Tread life is "poor" (for a car tire) at only 40,000 miles and it performs lousy in snow and ice. I can live with that in Southeast Texas (heat index of 105 today).

Besides with all that heat coming off the engine, it would melt the snow before it ever touched the tire :D.

I am riding a Falken now, and honestly I am really enjoying it. I am riding in all conditions (not snow but the rest). Thus far I have lost traction only on my 40 ish degree uphill driveway that is gravel. Otherwise, rain / heat / other has poised no issue.

I very willing to recommend this tire for its price and its ease to put on, you can have it on your backend for right at 90 bucks regularly, under 80 if you get it for 67

Good Luck out there, Ryde Hard or go home

Bob, the rating is 600AA and 70,000 mi. I have a set on my Corolla and really like them. Also they make front tires that will work on the RT when needed. Only have about 5-6K on it now so too early to predict wear; however, just glancing at it, still looks new. I run 28 lbs in it, 18 front.
