• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

what is the dumbest question you have been asked

That's it! HE MUST KNOW better than all of us, and BRP! I'm selling mine today before I get killed!

Good thing you ran into "such an expert" on 3 wheeled vehicles! Otherwise, I might have hurt myself :yikes:

It's just surprising that with all that "expertise in vehicle safety" he works at a 7/11? Go figure? :dontknow:

MM

I use to think the same way as your last statement regarding 7/11 until something happened last year after purchasing a new car.

I purchased a Caliber srt4, which is a 6 speed. I've driven many standard shifts. The dealer let me take the car to a dr's. appointment. When I came out after my appointment at the VA, I couldn't get the car into reverse. I kept getting closer to the curb in the parking garage and didn't want to damage the ground effects in the front. So, I went over to the guard and asked if he'd get into the car while I pushed it back. He gets in the car and puts it into reverse. From then on I don't assume someone's intelligence based on their job.

Newer cars have a reverse lockout so that you don't accidentally hit reverse. I hadn't had a standard shift in a few years and didn't realize it.

Wheres the kickstand :joke:

A good comeback would be, "No it has a tailhook like a carrier jet"

Yesterday a guy came up to me and asked about my Spyder. He said he had only seen 2 of them (turns out they were both me), and somehow surmised from that observation that "they aren't very popular around here". What urked me a bit was the attitude he had while he said this. I just passed it off as "another expert opinion" and kept smiling as I changed the subject.

He probably figures the same thing about Victories, Indians, and maybe even BMWs. There is an old saying "We are only as big as our own back yards."
