What is the difference between F3 and RT Limiteds?

I see more F3's for sale than Limited.

What is the difference in comfort, performance, etc?

Your original title said, "What is the difference in F3 and RT Limited" so at the risk of missing your point, I assume you mean "What are the differences Between the F3 and RT Limiteds", in which case you might want to check out these threads:

That said, the differences in the Limited's spec on each model don't really vary all that much from year to year, altho there are some; nor do the differences in performance between the F3's and the RT's regardless of Spec level vary all that much - the F3 model range is intended to be a more 'foot forward, ride on your tail-bone, seated IN the bike, sportier version' rather than 'the full tourer/dresser Sit ON style Cruiser' that's the RT... :shocked:

But if you're asking about the differences between the lower spec level F3 models and the higher Spec level F3 Touring or Limiteds, that's a whole 'nuther question, one which I don't believe has never specifically been asked before (I only did a thorough cursory glance type search, tho! ) but it has been answered incidentally in many other threads, only it might take a LOT of reading to find just a few those posts!

I have a 2023 F3 LTD Special Series and here are a few features that mine has:

Relaxed cruiser ergonomic with U-Fit system, Ultimate cruiser comfort and convenience for 2 people, Short-reach handlebars, top case rack, Comfort seat, 2 halogen headlamps (55/60) front fenders with integrated LED lights, Top case with integrated passenger backrest, SACHS Shock with self-leveling air preload adjustment, glove box with USB port. I am stretched out more, and I sit lower. Also, the F3 hugs the corners better.

I had a 2014 RTS-SE6 which was not a limited, your legs are directly in line with your body. Also, on the RT you sit up straighter. I think it came with its own luggage.

RE: Comfort: When it comes to comfort amenities think GW vs. Jaguar. The RT is more like riding a plush sofa. You sit ON it and not IN it. The F3L is closer to the ground. It has an adjustment system that is more "driver" friendly. You can adjust the F3 to your liking more easily than the RT.

RE: Performance: Both machines come equipped with the 1330/3 engine. The F3Ld "seem" a little more responsive on the get up and go (maybe because it's a couple pounds lighter). Top speed should be about the same. I felt a few less "g's" in the twisties aboard the F3 compared to the RT.

After owning 3 RT's, and 2 F3's I grew to liking the F3's a bit better.

Cost is a "little" less for the F3, but not a lot. :yes:

If you're going to do any amount of touring, the RT offers much better protection from the elements.

Not sure of the better protection from the elements... I mean, you are still on a 3-wheeler. Windshield might make some diff but if it's raining or snowing, hot or cold, it isn't gonna be much difference.

Much better lower body protection from wind and rain compared to my last F3S, which I did a lot of touring on.
