What is the correct setting for my Elka shocks?

I have a 2011 RT-S. I just had Elka shocks installed at 2013 Spyderfest in Springfield, MO. (Thanks MOGang)

The shock installer set the shocks and I have not touched them since. Now, however, I just received my BajaRon anti sway bar in the mail. After it is installed, should I change the settings on my Elkas? Is there a way to determine what the best setting is for me? Yes, I am "shock challenged". I have no clue what I am doing here. Obvious enough? :shocked:

Measure the length of the shocks; if you want a softer ride extend them , if you need a stiffer ride shorten them. When all else fails cal Cowtown and ask them for help

Actually, call Pitbull powersports where you purchased the shocks.

As an example;
I installed my Elkas and BajaRon's Anti-saybar at the same time. (roughly...)
First ride; it wasn't harsh, but there didn't seem to be any "forgiveness" in it.
To dial a bit of lean back in; I started measuring things,,,
The springs had an installed length of 8.75"
I backed the pre-load ring out three turns...
That set the spring length to 9"
Much softer, and it slowed the response of the steering down to where I could deal with it...
