• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CHECK COOLANT LEVEL

Questions

New member
Hi everyone, Im having a hard time checking my coolant level. Very hard to see , I tried a flashlight backlighting the coolant tank and even that is hard to see. I even tried a bore scope for gun barrels to light inside the tank. Still very hard to tell where the level is. Anyone have a good method??

Thanks :banghead:

Let's see..!!

the light from behind with the swaying the spyder you should see the level moving if your close to full. If your too low you will see nothing...:roflblack: I have the added problem running 75% water and 25% coolant/water wetter...

Check it by looking under the right wheel well. Shine a flashlight under it. You most probably will not be able to see the top of the coolant which is a good thing. If you see the coolant level then you might want to go to the trouble of removing the panel under the frunk. Otherwise why go to all that trouble when all you have to do is get on your knees and look up?
