• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is 'Normal' for a temperature reading on dash gauge?

The temp reading on the dash gauge for my F3, brand new less than 200 miles on the odo, is just below the half mark,

Is that normal? I don't have anything to compare it to except for my Kawasaki and that bike is always in the lower 25% area of the gauge.

The Spyder is too new to me for me to know what's normal.

I did search but didn't find anything on the newer Spyders.

TIA

The temp gauge on the dash of my 1330 runs at just about halfway or one increment below halfway when fully warmed up.

Since there was no marks on the gauge, after a few rides when it was new, I cleaned the glass well with alcohol and painted a small mark where it was running once warmed up. The mark is still there about 5 years later. Temperature has never varied, just takes a little longer to get there on cooler days. It is about halfway on the gauge.
