• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is a "CE" model?

Looking through my official Can-Am paperback service manual for my '16 RT Ltd, I've noticed in the specifications at the back of the book in the Specifications section that there's some references to "CE models" and "Other models".
In the RT specs, it states CE models, Other models, Japanese models, and Other Countries models.
Again, this is in the RT specifications, so I'm thinking those references may have something to do with country codes.

Any ideas on what a CE model is?

Thanks.

Little checking.....

interesting as search has found that the code "CE" is for Sri-Lanka... the explanation from Batmobile-F3 sound much better. Although I have seen interesting parts listed for specific countries when searching out parts....

Everything sold in Europe has to be certified and will then receive a sticker to prove it. The sticker will have CE on it as proof of conformity. So a CE Spyder will be a Spyder which conforms to European regulation.
