• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What if, hmmm?

I wonder if Can Am has ever considered putting the engine behind the rider. This would seemingly get rid of heat issues entirely, but would be essentially a complete redesign. This was just a thought, nothing serious.

I'm certainly not an engineer... :opps:, but it might have a lot to do with, "mass centralization"; keeping all of the biggest and heaviest stuff in the center of the pile. it helps to make a large vehicle feel easier to turn and move around...

On a 3 wheeled vehicle, especially a reverse trike, the most stable design is to have the weight forward between the 2 front wheels. There are better ways to get rid of the heat than moving the engine and sacrificing stability and handling.
